Youth Go Green started a “Youth Environmental Activists (YEA)” Program! It is a youth-driven network of University & high school environmental clubs in public & private Education Institutions. YEA program is based on the principle that educating, engaging, and empowering youth in their teens can lead to long-term civic engagement and critical leadership on climate change solutions. Under this campaign, we had a one week tree planting campaign in Uganda Christians University (UCU), Makerere University Business School (MUBS)-Mbale campus, IUIU and all secondary schools in Mbale.
Youth Go Green has had sensitization training / workshops in Environmental conservation and HIV/AIDS for both youth leaders and university students. For example in National Teachers College – Kaliro, Makerere University Business School (MUBS) – Mbale, Uganda Christians University (UCU) and Mbale District Youth leaders under the Theme “Integrating HIV/AIDS into environmental conservation”
Plant a tree, see it grow!

In the previous campaigns, massive tree planting campaigns took place in the Albertine Graben / Bunyoro region, Kiruhura district, Bombo Road with the Uganda People’s Defense Force(UPDF), the Eastern region of Busoga and Mbale where even sensitization trainings / workshops were carried out.
